CNC Mill Operator - Experienced
Position Summary:
Our company is searching for a seasoned and proficient CNC Mill operator to work in our computer numeric controlled (CNC) mill department. Your primary role will be to uphold our commitment to crafting precision parts and tools in accordance with engineering blueprints and customer specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to run with efficiency Haas and Mazak multi axis machines.
- Must be able to set up CNC Mill machines.
- Must know Mastercam.
- Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
- Understand gauges and measuring devices.
- Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
- Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
- Record all machine actions by completing production and quality log.
- Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
- Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshoots tools and makes necessary adjustments and repairs.
- Performs all work necessary to assure that part produced will pass first piece inspection.
- Performs preventative maintenance according to procedure.
- Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.
- Seeks Continuous Improvement methods to improve efficiency, quality, and reduction of scrap.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification, recommended.
- Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage.
- 3 years’ experience as a CNC Mill/Lathe operator.
- Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in written and oral communication, delivering various types of information in a logical manner.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- The ability to interpret Blueprints.
- Basic computer knowledge

CNC Machinist
General Machinist
Position Summary:
Duties will include various jobs involved in manufacturing, as well as miscellaneous plant tasks. Applicant should be mechanically inclined and have a good understanding of basic tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine Operator – Read blueprints, Use Micrometers, calipers, inspect parts as required
- Clean and deburr parts
- Keep working area clean and organized
- Drive Fork Truck
- Empty chip hopper
- Retrieve stock
- Wash and move parts
- Any other job duties as assigned
Essential Job Functions
- Pick up part origin using edge finder, probe or indicator
- Set up tooling for the job and tool offsets
- Make tool offset adjustments when needed
- Be able to read a steel scale ruler
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or Equivalent
- Experience: General use of computers
- Good math skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Micrometers, Calipers and other precision Gages
