Maintenance Team Member

Are you energetic, dependable, and enjoy working with your hands? We’re looking for a General Maintenance Worker to join our maintenance team!

In this role, you’ll perform a variety of hands-on tasks that help keep our facility clean, organized, and running smoothly. Some work is routine, while other projects will give you the chance to use your mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain machines and equipment
  • Perform coolant changes and basic machine upkeep
  • Handle trash pickup and general facility tidiness
  • Assist with minor facility repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain building and grounds (both indoor and outdoor tasks)
  • Follow 5S and cleanliness standards daily
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively

Purchasing Manager

Position Summary:

Experienced, hands-on Purchasing Manager to lead and execute our procurement function in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supplier negotiation, inventory strategy, purchasing execution, and ERP optimization. The Purchasing Manager works closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure materials and services are sourced competitively, delivered on time, and aligned with production needs.

This position requires a leader who is comfortable balancing strategic planning with day-to-day purchasing activities and who can step in to support or cover buyer responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Supplier Management

  • Lead all purchasing activities from requisition through delivery to support production and business needs
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with both small and large vendors to achieve competitive pricing, favorable terms, and reliable supply
  • Plan, negotiate, and administer supplier contracts, bids, and proposals
  • Maintain alternative and backup suppliers for critical materials
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost
  • Resolve vendor-related quality, delivery, and service issues
  • Maintain vendor relationships related to substitutions, equivalents, pricing changes, and delivery schedules

Inventory & Cost Management

  • Determine appropriate order quantities to balance inventory availability, turns, and cash flow
  • Ensure materials are delivered on time and to specification
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively address shortages or excess
  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives through negotiation, sourcing strategies, and process improvements

ERP & Process Ownership

  • Own and manage purchasing and inventory functions within the ERP system
  • Ensure accurate setup and maintenance of vendors, pricing, lead times, and purchasing data
  • Identify opportunities to improve ERP workflows, reporting, and purchasing processes
  • Partner with internal teams to enhance system usage, controls, and data accuracy

Team Leadership & Coverage

  • Lead, mentor, and support buyers and purchasing staff
  • Provide hands-on support and coverage for buyer activities as needed
  • Ensure purchasing policies and procedures are followed consistently
  • Support training and development of purchasing team members

Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Set up new vendors and ensure required documentation (NDAs, agreements, warranties) is completed
  • Review and manage service contracts and warranties prior to renewal
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and approval requirements
  • Prepare and present purchasing metrics and reports to senior management

 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Cost savings achieved through negotiation and sourcing strategies
  • On-time and in-full delivery performance
  • Supplier quality and responsiveness metrics

  • Accuracy and timeliness of purchasing data and reporting

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience negotiating with a wide range of vendors, from small suppliers to large strategic partners
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management (Epicor Kinetic strongly preferred)
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution and administrative work
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support a purchasing team

Entry Level Buyer/Purchasing Intern

The Purchasing Intern supports the procurement and inventory functions of the organization while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This role assists with sourcing materials, placing purchase orders, tracking inventory, and working with suppliers to support daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills and curiosity about supply chain and manufacturing processes will contribute to both personal growth and team success.

This role is intended to develop into a full-time role that is based on performance, business needs, and individual growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Assist with purchasing general supplies and materials as requested by internal departments

  • Support the sourcing process by helping obtain quotes for direct and indirect materials
  • Work with subcontractors and vendors to collect proposals and basic pricing information
  • Help identify alternative suppliers or products to support cost savings and quality improvements
  • Coordinate with vendors when placing orders to support on-time delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reordering to prevent shortages
  • Maintain purchasing and supplier documentation in the ERP system
  • Provide general administrative and analytical support to the purchasing team

Essential Functions:

 Assist with purchasing and receiving activities

  • Help maintain positive vendor relationships through professional communication
  • Support supplier evaluations and corrective action tracking, when needed
  • Assist in monitoring raw material availability against the production schedule
  • Gather and organize supplier information such as pricing, lead times, availability, and reliability

Qualifications:

 Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field

  • Interest in manufacturing, purchasing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) is a plus but not required
  • Ability to effectively use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)

Project Coordinator – Custom Machine Building

We are seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to support our design-and-build projects from initial sales handoff through final shipment. This role is central to keeping projects on track, ensuring smooth communication across departments and with customers, and delivering quality machines on time.

The Project Coordinator will help plan, schedule, and track projects while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review project “Black Book” documentation, schedule work, and align tasks for in-process execution.
  • Maintain and update project schedules based on key milestones and workload.
  • Track and secure required parts, materials, and information across all departments.
  • Plan and lead pre-project kickoff meetings and post-project reviews.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, providing updates on progress, timelines, and project status.
  • Attend customer runoffs and ensure results are communicated internally and externally.
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Shipping/Receiving to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor project profitability and notify management if margins fall below thresholds.
  • Participate in at least one project management training session annually.

Qualifications

  • Education: 1–2 years of specialized training (Associate’s degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 1–2 years of relevant project coordination or manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook),
  • General understanding of Cad software
  • proficiency in blueprint reading
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple projects.

Tool Maker

This position is responsible for creating custom parts to specifications using a manual lathe or Bridgeport mill and surface grinders. Tool Makers are responsible for the full range of the Tool build and assembly process. The Tool Makers participate in tryout and troubleshooting while working closely with Design Engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Setup and Run Manual Lathes/Mills/Grinders
•Write Programs with accurate controls to Customer Specifications
•Previous tooling experience
•Be proficient in math and be reliable
•Modify existing tooling per customer changes and requirements.
•Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling.
Essential Functions:
•Troubleshoots tools and makes necessary adjustments and repairs.
•Performs all work necessary to assure that part produced will pass first piece inspection.
•Performs preventative maintenance according to procedure.
Qualifications:
•Education: High School Diploma or GED
•Experience: 5 Years’ Experience in Manufacturing
•Knowledge and Ability to use Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators and any gage needed to
check parts to Lomar gaging standards.
•Knowledge and Ability to use hand tools, Wrenches, Hammers, Files and Deburring tools
•Ability to use Air Drill, and Die Grinder

CNC Mill Operator

Position Summary:
Our company is searching for a seasoned and proficient CNC Mill operator to work in our computer
numeric controlled (CNC) mill department. Your primary role will be to uphold our commitment to
crafting precision parts and tools in accordance with engineering blueprints and customer
specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to run efficiently Haas and Mazak vertical & horizontal machines. Knowledge of
multi-axis machines is preferred.
• Must be able to set up CNC Mill machines.
• Familiar with Mastercam, preferred.
• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, and
milling.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
• Understand gauges and measuring devices.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce
improved results.
• Check machinery daily to guarantee functionality.
• Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
• Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations.
Essential Functions:
• Troubleshoots tools and makes necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance according to procedure.
• Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies.

•Seeks Continuous Improvement methods to improve efficiency, quality, and reduction of scrap.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, recommended.
• 3 years’ experience as a CNC Mill/Lathe operator.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in written and oral communication, delivering various types of information in a
logical manner.
• Good computer and mathematical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge
