Capabilities
Since our beginning in 1976, Lomar’s founder and CEO Jim Geisman placed a strong emphasis on engineering products upfront as he believed machines designed upfront was the foundation of a superior product. That same philosophy is still a key ingredient in our products and services we offer today.
Our in-house engineering department represents multiple disciplines of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and tooling design engineers. Design considerations include but are not limited to ease of operation, practicality of maintenance, adaptability within a family of parts, ergonomic principles and possible failure modes.
Manufacturing capabilities include complete in-house machine shop services, which utilize the latest in CNC turning, milling and grinding as well as wire and plunge EDM and 3D printing services. Additional capabilities include CNC laser cutting and metal forming, welding and metal finishing including liquid and powder coating.
All machines are built to meet NEC standards. CE, CSA and NR12 compliance is available upon request. Electrical wiring, PLC programming and plumbing are all performed in-house.
