Exciting New Additions to Lomar’s Quality Control Capabilities!

Lomar is proud to announce the acquisition of two cutting-edge pieces of equipment designed to enhance our quality control process and increase efficiency across our operations.

Keyence LMX 3D Laser Scanner
The new Keyence LMX 3D Laser Scanner will allow us to conduct real-time inspections during the production process. This advanced system enables our operators to inspect parts as they are being made, ensuring greater accuracy and quicker identification of potential issues. With this addition, Lomar can reduce the number of trips to the quality lab, streamlining workflow and allowing for more timely decisions at every step of production.

Hexagon Absolute Arm
In addition, we’ve invested in a new Hexagon Absolute Arm, a mobile CMM (coordinate measuring machine) that will allow us to inspect larger parts with precision and flexibility. This mobile solution can be taken directly to the part, reducing downtime and improving accessibility. It will be especially valuable for inspecting several S1138 Endformer components—parts that Lomar previously had no means to inspect with such accuracy. The ability to perform these inspections directly on-site enhances our capability to maintain the highest standards of quality.
